A Man Forged by Service
Vincent Williams is not a career politician. He is a worker, a veteran, and a union man through and through. Everything he has done — in uniform and on the job — has been in service to something larger than himself.
After honorably serving six years in the United States Army (1986–1992), Vincent came home and found his calling within the ranks of Transport Workers Union Local 252. He started where most members start — on the floor — and worked his way up through merit, dedication, and an unshakeable belief in what a union can do for working families.
As Vice President of Transits Fixed Routes, Para Transit ADA, Shops, Fuelers, and Utilities, Vincent oversees some of the most critical and diverse divisions in Local 252. He has been at the table during consequential moments for our members — fighting management overreach, protecting workers' rights, and consistently putting the needs of the membership first.
Now, Vincent is ready to lead. As President of Local 252, he will bring that same fight, that same discipline, and that same heart to everything he does on behalf of every single member of this union.

Joined TWU Local 252
Vincent began his career with the Transport Workers Union, quickly earning the trust and respect of his fellow members through hard work and dedication.
Shop Steward
Elected as Shop Steward, Vincent became the go-to voice for members facing workplace disputes, successfully advocating for fair treatment and proper contract enforcement.
Elected Vice President
Members elected Vincent as Vice President of Local 252, a position in which he has served with distinction — negotiating on behalf of workers and strengthening the union from within.
Running for President
Vincent is now stepping up to lead Local 252 as President, bringing his experience, integrity, and unwavering commitment to every member of our union.
